Triumph T140 Black Bobber by Red Max Speed Shop

Motorbikes have been an important part of Steve’s life, Drag Racing, Supermoto, Enduro, Sidecars – on and off road, Steve has done it all!

Steve is quite passionate about Flattrack and Café Racers; previously we have featured a couple of other builds from his Red Max Speed shop , which includes; Drogo’s Yamaha XS650 Street Tracker and Harley Sportster Cafe Racer.

BLACK BOBBER TRIUMPH T140 Red max speed shop 5Today we are looking at one of his Triumph Bobber Tracker creations called ‘Black Bobber’, which was built for a customer in Italy. Based on a Triumph T140 the original intention was to build a cool Street tracker with a Trackmaster frame, when one couldn’t be found the project moved towards a Bobber frame and became a Bobber Tracker.

Steve wanted to keep the quality of the build with the look of the 60’s, simple and stripped down Bobber Style. The head of the Triumph T140 was cleaned and fitted with a 2 into 2 wrapped up pipes and the gearbox was also stripped out and cleaned and all the parts were sandblasted and powder coated.

Red Max Speed Shop fabricated the engine mounts and also made the wiring boxes and footrest. The battery was mounted below the oil tank and the entire wiring loom was done from scratch on this build. The old school ribbed rear fender was hand fabricated by Red Max Speed Shop and the side mount number plate was mounted.

To match the theme, black was the perfect way to go for the color scheme for this build. We imagine Mirco feels like one lucky man to be riding this beauty! Launch the photo gallery to get a good look at this Triumph.

Steve – Sorry to read about your accident, all the best for a quick recovery from the team at Moto Rivista.
