Spirit III : 650cc Twin | Spirit of the Seventies

Based in England Kev Taggart and Tim Rogers are the founders of “Spirit of the Seventies”, sharing the same passion for building vintage custom motorcycles.

At Spirit of the Seventies they create and sell unique, classic, custom bikes for all those with the same passion and philosophy. They help make a customers dreams a reality by allowing them a chance to participate in the design of their own dream-machine.

Spirit III is a transformation of a 1978 Yamaha XS650. The build started with a shortened and reveled sub frame, satin black powder coated frame, R6 brake caliper with a FZR1000 floating disc. Tomaselli fork brace, new rear shocks, a bespoke twin-exit exhaust system and racing bodywork to create a classic street-tracker, handmade Spirit seat. Tank and tails were hand fabricated by Ken and Tim.
