Icon is quite famous for their bold riding gear and cool helmet designs, and keeping its brand image and products fresh.
From what we know these guys are working on new innovative designs almost every day and releasing great new products. Designing the motorbike gear is not the only thing Icon is good at, every now and then boys from Icon produce amazing custom motorbikes.
The one we are talking about today is ‘The Kitten’, which is based on Honda CRF230. The motorbike was purchased brand new by one of Icons employees. The build of this beauty took a long winter and some ebay shopping, before ‘The Kitten’ faced the inevitable grinder.
The bike was chopped, ground, and sawed within scant inches of permanent regret; then CRF230 began to take its final form. The 18” hoops were laced in where appropriate, the exhaust tubes were rerouted and reconfigured to achieve maximum glass packed virility.
The gas tank of ‘The Kitten’ CRF230 was sourced, mounted, sourced again, remounted, and sourced thrice. It was all a very involved and technically recumbent challenge. By the end of the build Icon emerged victorious with a wholly underpowered but visually overwhelming result ‘The Kitten’. According to Icon “Mess with the Kitten and you’ll get the horn”
