LEAP FILMS have produced a 90-second Ad for the London based bespoke motorcycle maker, Untitled. Directed by Darren Statman, the film looks like a Bruce Davidson shoot populated by Fellini characters, as the viewer is taken on mesmerizing journey through a desolate London wasteland.
‘Our idea was to move away from the cliché montage of bike shots normally associated with motorbike films’, Darren says. ‘I wanted to create a film that treats the bike as a presence, using the roar of the rebuilt bikes engine to tell a narrative of the bikers’ experience riding the bike and taking a shortcut through…. Hell!’
The film was produced by Mark Lonsdale and Lucian Evans, the creative team who set up LEAP in 2009. Mark says, ‘It was a great opportunity to make something striking and memorable, a road movie set in a lost London. People always want to watch it again, so we must have got it right!’
UNTITLED MOTORCYCLES are two guys and a girl making custom motorcycles out of a workshop in Camden, London. They bring back to life old, unloved motorcycles, recycling them into classics. Untitled build motorcycles for everyday use with great individual styling and quality mechanics, motorcycles that ‘speak to the soul’.
