If you’re in Europe and desperate to live your Cafe Racer Dreams, look no further than the Madrid, Spain based bespoke fabricator CRD Cream Motorcycles. Their latest creation a Triumph Bonneville Custom is absolute eye candy for Triumph lovers.
These days CRD is busy rolling out custom orders for customers from all over, mostly outside of Spain. It’s no wonder when you see the results like this CRD modified Triumph Bonneville custom. Pedro Garcia, Pery to his friends, founded CRD Cream Motorcycles in 2010. Pery has always been an enthusiastic person and very keen on motor vehicles, especially those with two wheels.
According to Pery “Our mission with this build was to do a bike with ¨factory¨ aspects, but more original and improving the product. There is a lot of work but it’s done in a way that looks factory. The bike looks like the original one but it is not!”
As usual the sub-frame of the donor stock bike was modified to adapt the new style. CRD also designed a new seat, which is a bit thicker providing better comfort for the rider. The stock wheels were replaced with 18-inch classic (Borrani Recor original) wheels wrapped in Dunlop K180 tires. The stock engine is fitted with K&N filters and a 2 into 2 custom exhaust system.
The fabrication work on this Triumph Bonneville custom includes a hand-fabricated front & rear fender and a battery box. While other modifications are from CRD’s own store, which is the headlight, rear light and the very wide handlebar with controls and wiring hidden inside. The electricals were simplified to clean up the look of this Triumph Bonneville custom. The majority of the modification parts on this motorcycle are available in the Cafe Racer Dreams online store.
The finished bike looks mean and aggressive, the use of brown leather on the seat and the matte black paint on the bike, adds a nice retro touch. It’s amazing to see how Pery has added the CRD flavors to this build yet has retained the classic lines of the stock motorcycle.
