Every motorcycle speaks of it’s riders generation and in Japan the Sportster Forty-Eight seems to be quite popular amongst young riders.

The stock Sportster Forty-Eight is packed with plenty of attitude and power but that doesn’t seem to be enough for the young Japanese blood. There is something missing, these stock bikes don’t reflect their personality and this where the search for the perfect custom shop begins.

When it comes to the custom motorcycle scene Japan would be one of the most influencing in the world, although it doesn’t always get the full credit.

Sportster Forty-Eight XL1200X custom has been built by HidemoToday’s feature the “Sportster Forty-Eight XL1200X” aka SP-44 started out as a stock 2011 bike which needed some immediate attention from Hide Motorcycle. As usual the stock bike was stripped down to the frame. The rear of the stock frame was altered to adapt the new style of the bike.

The stock engine was tuned and fitted with a HDM air cleaner and with a one off custom exhaust. The fabrication work includes a one-off front & rear fender and a hand-fabricated custom fuel tank. The electrical modifications include a HDM meter and indicator bracket. At the rear this Sportster Forty-Eight XL1200X custom includes a HDM 11 inch short shock, HDM side bolt-on tail assy and a one-off single seat.

The Super Eagle front and rear tires are ready to rip through the roads. This Sportster Forty-Eight XL1200X custom has been built by Hidemo to draw and demand attention from every angle!
