DP Customs Ironhead Cafe Racer

It’s rare to have a brother with the same passion and not be competitive, Del Prado brothers of DP Customs prove that wrong.

Two brothers working together at DP Custom Cycles a custom Harley shop based in New River, Arizona. DP Customs has a passion for hot rods, horsepower, auto racing and of course, bobbers.  Operated by the Del Prado brothers, they use their collaborative efforts to come up with original, timeless designs and are all about quality. Their attention to detail is amazing.

1985 Harley-Davidson Sportster 6Based on a classic 1985  1000cc Harley Ironhead , the 85 Grabber Cafe has a beautifully shaped NOS Benelli tank, custom fabricated oil tank, vintage IRC race tires, and custom machined rear-sets. The wrapped up exhaust is a symmetrical design of DP’s own build. Almost everything is brand new, including the laced wheels, hubs, spokes, wiring, controls, etc.

This bike has been slotted for an upcoming feature in Barnett’s Magazine.

“We only build bikes that we would be proud to ride ourselves.  We focus on proportions, lines and symmetry.  Every detail matters to us.  We keep our designs raw, sanitary and tasteful.  We’re not big on chrome, huge wheels and tons of flash.  You won’t find us using million-dollar equipment in our shop.  We build our hogs by hand, the old fashioned way.” – DP Customs
