2010 AMD Championship Winner Veon by Krugger Motorcycles

With the  2011 AMD World Championship of custom bike building around the corner lets take a look back at last years winner, 2010 VEON from Krugger Motorcycles – Belgium.

Veon 4Fred Krugger’s passion for motorcycles is in his blood with both parents very fond of motor sports. He had his first bike when he was just 5 years old (Honda CR50 Elsinor) and raced for many of his younger years. Fred moved to building custom motorcycles in 2002 with his first bike build ‘The Racer’. Krugger Motorcycles took out 3 third places at the AMD World Championships (2004, 2005,2009) before finally taking out the title in 2010.

Veon 5The Veon is what won it for Krugger Motorcycles and what makes this a truly unique custom motorcycle is the electronically adjustable frame. This motorcycle can transform from a Sports Bike (30.5-inch seat height, 23-degree rake, 3.1 inches of trail, 60.4 inch wheel base and 9.3 inches of ground clearance) to a Cruiser (23.8-inch seat height, 30-degree rake, 4.7 inches of trail, 63.4 inch wheel base and 6.7 inches of ground clearance) with just a push of a button. This bike also comes with 2 different sets of foot controls t0 accommodate the different riding positions. The engine is a Harley Davidson V-rod which is the fastest bike in Harley Davidson production.

It’s pretty exciting to see a bike like this with perfect design, innovation and engineering. Will definitely have to take a look at some other bikes from Krugger Motorcycles soon.
