Triumph Thunderbird Triton by Vincent Michel

This beautifully painted Triton Café Racer is owned by photographer Vincent Michel who is also known for his passion for vintage motorcycles.

1963 Triton 4

The engine and the frame are from 1963, although this Triton is from 1970. Slimline Norton featherbed frame, with an engine pre-unit Triumph 650 cm3 Thunderbird and last Bonneville cylinder head. High compression pistons, racing camshaft 3134 for better performance and Amal concentric dual fuel.

Vincent was not happy with the first version of paint, so his friend from AeroColordesign unleashed his brush on this Triton canvas turning it into a classic racing and luxurious looking bike.

1963 Triton 5“In a word is made for a motorcycle ride, its fast, noisy, stiff, lightweight and racy. A true villainous motorcycle … “The original cafe racer” Says Frank Sider of MotArt.
