Zero Engineering’s Type 5

Zero Engineering’s Type 5 features a 96” S&S V-Series engine mated to a H-D 5-speed transmission. Type 5 is DOT & EPA compliant.

Type 5 comes standard with an S&S 96”evolution style engine. Available in Black or Silver finish. If the Engine and Transmission make up the “HEART” of a motorcycle, then the Frame is the “SOUL” of the Samurai Chopper!

Type 5 comes standard with H-D 5-speed transmission. Available in Black & Chrome or Silver finish. Type 5 comes standard with our original 2 into 1 exhaust header. Zero Engineering original dual shot exhaust headers are available as an option.

Aluminum fuel tanks are made in Japan to the highest quality standards. Standard fuel tank capacity on the Type 5 is 2.1 gallons. Zero’s replica 74” Springer Forks are modified from the original drum brake configuration to accept disc brakes for better stopping power.  Zero Engineering also install their own brass friction bushings for better dampening.
