This is the second project bike Roland Sands has built for the Tony Hawk Foundation called ‘Tony Hawk 2’. This motorbike was auctioned at the ‘Stand Up for Skateparks’ benefit to raise money to build skate parks in low-income areas.
The ‘Tony Hawk 2’ is quite similar to the first project bike (click here to view) with RSD adding some slight modifications for the new owner.
The build started around Harley Davidson, Sportster XL Nightster, RSD added their famous Café Racer Kit, which includes; The RSD 39mm Black Anodize Clip Ons mounted to the front forks, Gauge & Headlight Re-Locator, Polished Ignition Coil Re-locator to help remove that plastic wire caddy to expose the frame of this Café Racer bike, RSD LED Indicator.
This Tony Hawk project bike rolls on RSD Black Ops Boss Wheel with a Black Ops Turbine air cleaner, RSD master cylinder cap, latest RSD Café Racer seat by Mustang which will be coming out in (2012), Vance and Hines performance RSD tracker exhaust, Moto Foot Pegs and tracker grips.
Also donated towards this build were Barnetts, Spiegler, Progressive, V&H, PM, Dunlop, K&N and Airtrix.
This is one best-looking Nightster we have featured and its great to see Roland Sands supporting this cause. We are big fans of Roland Sands designs and think when customizing your own ride; your first stop should be at Roland Sands for parts!
