When it comes to passion there are no boundaries, today’s featured custom motorcycle Moto Guzzi v7 Classic 2012 is a testament to that statement. This contemporary Italian pedigree has been carefully transformed by Bunker Custom Cycles from Turkey.

Because it’s been awhile lets introduce you to Bunker Custom Cycles again, hailing from the city of Istanbul. This is a two-man operation run by brothers Mert Uzer and Can Uzer. The shop came to existence due to the brothers not being able to find what they were looking for in new age bike’s. To see more here’s a couple from the archives, a tasty Triumph and a hooning Honda!! (Don’t laugh at our writing we are just getting back to it after our extended long service leave!!!)

Moto Guzzi v7This Moto Guzzi V7 already had a good design and a beautiful fuel tank. The owner had used it’s classic style for over 30,000Km and went to Bunker Custom Cycles wanting to keep it’s design legacy but to make the proportions look more contemporary, whilst also increasing it’s performance.

To begin with the rear section of the classic Moto Guzzi V7 was reshaped to make it more streamlined and a new seat base with leather cover seat was added for comfortable riding. The stock side panels were replaced with more simplified aluminium side panels.

Moto Guzzi v7To bring the street tracker look, the front of this Moto Guzzi V7 houses a Renthal bar fitted with Bittwell grips, analog ACEWELL mini speedo and a 4” headlamp with short clamps. The stock turn signals were dropped for Bullet turn indicators and a compact LED brake light was installed to keep it minimal. The bike rolls on Golden tyres and the foot pegs were replaced for more grip, giving the rider the ability to go crazy off-road!

The pipe was wrapped and features Mistral mufflers, to increase the performance of this custom Moto Guzzi V7 a power commander was installed and the bike was Dyno tuned.

The photos were taken in front of the 3rd bridge of Istanbul just before it was finished. Though the bridge was the controversial topic for Turkish people I believe the bike is a good distraction.

What a great build from the guys, they have managed to keep the classic lines of this 2012 Moto Guzzi V7 whilst making it more contemporary to meet the client’s need.

To all petrol heads in Turkey – If you want to stand out from the crowd and reflect yourself you must commission these brothers to bring your dreams into reality.
